Position Summary
We are seeking an accomplished front-end developer that strives to write high quality code at all times. We are a functional programming shop and use strongly typed programming languages across our stack. Our web apps are developed using ReScript. You will be a key member of our dev team. Projects will involve implementing marketing pages, creating interactive data visualizations, and building scalable web apps.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 2+ years of industry experience. 5+ years is preferred.
- Proficiency with TypeScript and a general understanding of type systems is strongly preferred.
- ReScript experience is of course ideal, but not required. We will accept a desire to learn state-of-the art programming methodologies, such as those embodied in ReScript.
- Expertise with React is required.
- Experience with NextJS and Tailwind is preferred.
- Experience collaborating with designers and back-end developers.
- Strong sense of ownership and willingness to go the extra mile. Desire for conducting all of your work to the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities
- Configure build system, VS Code editor configurations, and CI/CD systems.
- Implement marketing pages according to a design specification.
- Research and implement authentication solutions.
- Build data driven dashboards for scientific use cases.
- Organize code for scale. Design good APIs.
- Collaborate with backend developers to build complex web apps for genomics.
- Document all of your work continuously in our project management system. Create good pull requests with a clear scope.
- Communicate your work effectively in team meetings and in writing.

- Remote. We are a US based company and seek a candidate with the ability to work effectively in a distributed environment.
