My connection was slow today, and I discovered that the Discourse logo at the top of the page turns out to be 1858 x 512 pixels and 165K bytes.
If it’s possible to modify the image, might I suggest reducing its size to 300x83, which would take up only 30K bytes but still be legible.

nice logo by the way! Is it intentional that’s it’s almost an ocaml fast-pipe? 
It looks very nice. Still a bit space-heavy at 1632 x 385 and 110K bytes, but I imagine that can be dealt with later.
