My name is Aitor and I’m the Technical Lead of Seedtag’s AdTech chapter (seedtag.com). As a quick overview, we are a contextual advertising startup, founded in 2014 by two ex-googlers. We basically analyze millions of pages, contextualize them using NLP and CV and then use information to find the most appropriate ad, without using cookies. In this way we ensure that advertising is relevant to what you are reading without the need to analyze users.
The technical challenge we face is that everything goes fast, we do everything real-time and at scale, to give you an idea, our agent is used on about 200 million unique devices per month and we have about 3 million messages per second in Kafka.
This agent and many other projects we are developing are written Rescript/Reason or Typescript and we are looking for you folks.
